Motivation

Many underestimate the costs, efforts and actually also the motivation of this website.

Let me explain at first how it started. The website got created because the buttcrack community got shut down on multiple platforms (Flickr, Youtube, several porn sites). Even Discord banned our public server for already 4 times. Due to all the deletions and bans we lost a lot of files. Many legendary videos are truly lost for forever, but some were restored with very high technical efforts and lets say also “special connections”, and that is actually very appreciated by the biggest part of the community. This disruptive history of our community has shown that the we need at least one place that stays constantly online, but also keeps our content online.

With this website we achieved following notable advantages:

– Providing the platform for a central archive of all old lost and new files
– Central contact email database to all our users, to invite them always back to discord, if we get again banned
– Much higher visibility in the internet. We are on Top 1 Google Search Results. This ensures that our community can grow
– We pay also for advertise on similar kind of websites to increase the growth of our community
– Incentives for content contributors, as they get partial free access by contributing content. This increases general content flow
– User experience: all shared files are documented in this website, which are indexed with their original file names and with corresponding screenshots. Therefore you can sort also by views, search by author, or just leave a comment.

But as you can imagine such a project brings also many challenges:

– Requires constant technical maintenance. Updates on system, platform and application level.
– License renewals.
– Backups and tests in case of breaking changes
– Virtual Private Server administration
– Providing an easy and seamless payment experience for customers for this kind of “special content”
– Discord server administration
– Response and fixes to security issues
– General bug fixes
– Constant content updates
– General improvements to processes, user experience and performance
– Search Engine optimization to achieve good google results
– Caching optimization to increase performance

All of this imply:

– High work load, thus time consumption
– Special skills to develop this and solve corresponding technical, legal, organizational and administrative problems
– Legal risks due to the contents nature
– And of course very high costs

To compensate time, risk and especially the high costs, the website needs to be monetized to keep long-term running. And you have to keep in mind all of these efforts and funds were invested without knowing that anything will compensated or covered. After many iterations of improvements we achieved our goal to make it long-term, but nevertheless the costs are high.

– Storage of over 16000 files, which require terabytes of capacity and bandwidth
– Web server resources
– Backup storage
– CDN setup to balance load
– DDoS protection
– Software licenses
– Domain costs
– Mailer costs
– Automation for discord message post-processing costs
– Compensation of time
– Further investments (e.g. better servers, storage, content delivery networks, advertisements, etc.)
– We got a community of thousands of active users, thus the web server needs enough bandwidth and hardware resources

We know that not everybody can afford a membership, that’s why implemented a membership concept that is fair as possible, but also still targets our financial goals.

Our offer:

– A repository of 900 free videos
– A free public discord server that contains a lot of free content
– The possibility to join the private discord server by contributing original content of notable amount and quality
– An affordable membership called “Full membership”, which costs only 49 USD and covers content access to at least 6300 videos. Thus each video costs on average below 1 cent!
– A premium membership called “VIP membership”, which actually covers our costs. If it is to expensive for you, then you can still look at our previous mentioned offers. Nobody is forced to buy something.

It is impossible to satisfy 100% of all people, but we strongly believe that our current concept is very near to highest possible user satisfaction while dealing with all the challenges and while reaching our goals to keep this website and also the discord server alive.
