In my freshman year of high school our cafeteria was under construction so we had lunch in the gym. There weren’t many chairs so most people sat with their lunch groups on the floor in the same spot everyday. My group would sit in the same corner in the gym and there was this group of sophomores that was the closed group near us to the left. I’m becoming more convinced than ever that there’s a curse or I used up my luck or something. On two different occasions recently, I’ve stopped by the mall for about an hour to look for crack.
